UnidosUS – Latino Civil Rights and Advocacy

( ratings)

More than 62 million Latinos live and work in the United States, contributing $2.7 trillion to the economy. You are part of the fabric of America, and you create change for an equitable and mobile society. The Latino vote is crucial today and will continue to be moving forward. Through the combination of research, advocacy, programs, and a national network of nearly 300 community-based Affiliate organizations across the country, we simultaneously challenge the social, economic, and political barriers that affect Latinos in the United States across a range of key issues. Emphasized within this project are civil rights and racial equity, education, health, housing and financial empowerment, immigration, voting, and workforce development.
