This is a story about a woman who learns to recognize and root out their racial conditioning as a white person. They speak of their interaction with an African American woman in a restaurant. The experience of raising a young man in today’s society is central to the conversation. One particular comment caused the African American woman pain, a reflection of the white woman’s privilege. The video concluded with what happened when the white woman tried to repair the injury.
